In July & August, we customized a batch of cast iron weights for our Zambian customer：4 pcs of
500kg weights and 33pcs of 1000kg weights, totally 35ton cast iron weights.
With the sketch offered by our customer, after carefully calculation, our technician made detailed
drawings accordingly with each section’s sizes indicated for our customer’s final confirmation.
About cast iron weights, there are two kinds of production process: Pure casting process and steel
mold+casting process.
For this batch of cast iron weights, after discussion with our customer, they perfer the steel
mold+casting process.
Besides the drawings & production process, we also confirmed the painting color with our
customer.
Before delivery, each weight has been calibrated with M1 class comparator to ensure their precision
conform to OIML-R111 standard strictly. All our weights support the 3rd party calibration.
As per customer’s requirement, we provided the 3rd party calibration certificate issued by
Metrology Institute who has passed ISO17025 certificate.
Finally we finished all the weights in 30 workdays as schedule and deliver them to Qingdao Port on
time.
